I have always been very hesitant about relinquishing control in any aspect regarding my creative works. I have a difficult time trusting others and have this fear in the back of my mind that other people don't care enough and if I'm not the one actively doing it, it won't get done. However, I have been watching Asterielly's channel and account for some time and I've both loved and appreciated her work from afar. Then she posted a cover I just could not let go of and finally I took a leap to contact her about it which has somehow turned into me constantly telling her I am going to buy all of her covers, haha. I adore her covers and working with her over these past few weeks has been such a pleasure. She's so easy to talk to, very communicative, friendly, thorough, versatile, and produces high quality work. Words cannot express how appreciative I am to have found her. I've worked with numerous freelancers and third parties throughout my publishing journey, and this is the first time I don't have anxiety.
